Job Opening – Psychologist on Long Island
We’re looking for a dedicated, engaged psychologist to join us at Long Island Psychology, a private practice that caters to a diverse clinical population.
Long Island Psychology is looking for a licensed or license-eligible psychologist who is hoping to join a practice that can provide them with a caseload of patients that fit their experience and preferences.
We have built a thriving practice that is heavily engaged in growth through referrals and marketing, with clients that stay with our psychologists for many years. We can also help you with your specialties and find patients who are struggling with issues that you feel confident treating. We use an integrative therapeutic approach to treat children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of presenting issues, including anxiety and mood disorders, relationship and couples issues, and addictions.
We’re here to support YOU in developing areas of specialty to further clinical skills and career-building.
Our hope is to find someone comfortable working both with a team and independently – someone that is able to bring their own unique perspective and is also open to the perspective of others. We’re able to offer flexibility with the position as well and can discuss how we’ve integrated remote work and off-hours support into our practice.
We have two offices – one in Garden City and one in Rockville Centre, and you are welcome to use either location for seeing patients.
At the moment, we are only looking for candidates with a Ph.D. or Psy.D in Clinical Psychology. Candidates of diverse backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply.
