How Do We

Help You

Our trauma and resilience program is tailored to the specific needs and goals of the individual, group, or organization, which we assess and establish at the start of our work together. Training is offered in various formats including individual sessions, group meetings, and telephone/ video conferencing. We can also come to you and provide workshops at a setting of your choice.

The program is designed to help you grow by fostering virtues such as courage, interpersonal skills, insight, hope, capacity for pleasure, putting difficulties in perspective, looking towards the future, and finding your purpose. We promote this growth by helping you to first identify, and then access and build your unique strengths throughout the program.

After the initial assessment each session begins by reviewing your progress from the last meeting, followed by the introduction and learning of new material and exercises, and concludes with a plan for implementation. We incorporate approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Positive Psychology, that help you to overcome negative thinking, develop a more accepting attitude to life, and utilize core strengths to develop your resilience repertoire.
